I have to say, the statistics mentioned in the article shocked me. Why, you may ask? We all knew the boomer retirement wave was coming. I was one of the first to start quoting McKinsey's famous study on the War for Talent from the early 90's who let us know that 78 million of these boomers were leaving the workplace. McKinsey's prognostication was that we were about to experience not only a worker shortage, but a drain on intellectual capital unlike anything employers had ever experienced before.]]></description>
