But, judging by the number of small, "standard" pet store cages still being purchased every year, it is clear that people do not really look at cage size.

The purpose of the wire floor is to let feces and other solid materials fall though the openings into a litter pan below. To clean, one simply slides out the litter pan and empties the pan.
Many people think of scale length of a guitar as the length between the nut and the bridge-in other words, the playable or "business" length of the guitar string. In reality, this length is slightly longer than the official, specified scale length which is called the nominal scale length. The actual "real life" scale of a guitar is longer than the nominal scale (and the 12th fret does not divide the strings exactly in half) because strings stretch as we push them down to the fretboard and the resulting notes become sharp. We adjust the intonation to compensate for string-stretching by slightly increasing the string lengths above the 12th fret which brings the raised tones back down to their proper pitch.

Frequencies that an object wants to vibrate at (or is sympathetic to) are called resonant frequencies.
