She attended a Concordia Publishing House workshop, graduated from the Institute of Children's Literature, wrote an issue of Happy Times (CPH subscription for preschoolers), has written small contributions for a number of online newsletters, and has written several devotions, mostly for children.  In 2007, Concordia Publishing House published a curriculum guide that Stephenie co-wrote.
